Nøytraliserende Antistoffer


Det er diskutert i de nevrologiske miljøer hva en kan trekke av slutninger av en NAB test og hvem som bør ta den. I Danmark blir de fleste som behandles med Interferon beta testet for akkurat dette og alle som har forhøyde verdier over ett gitt nivå blir vurdert for en annen behandling. I Danmark har de også tatt konsekvensen av dataene fra deres MS-register som viser helt klart at NAB's har betydning for den effekt som pasientene får av sin behandling.

I den følgende artikkelserien ser vi på hva Nasjonalt Kompetansesenter for MS gjør i forhold til NAB, og hva NAB egentlig er. Videre diskuteres hvilken innvirkning NAB har på pasientens effekt av sin medisin, og hva som i så tilfelle må gjøres for å gi pasienten en fullgod medisinering.
